For me: This blog exists because I exist; "sum ergo...I blog." Herein, you will find elements of ego-stroking; intermittent pieces, semi-thought-provoking; and occasional joking -- but mostly narcissism. All that to say, "this site is basically a backup for my pics, lifestyle, and hair info in case my 'cloud' documents get corrupted." So there's that...
